                                                         Company History
Established in 1986, we are the industry's leading manufacturer of light to medium weight woven industrial fabrics and fiber based products.  American Fiber & Finishing (AF&F) services customers and markets worldwide, including: Aerospace, Automotive, Bookbinding, Filtration, Health, Beauty, Home, Industrial Wiping & Cleaning, Textiles, and others.
AF&F was established as the result of a management buy-out of the Textile Division of the Kendall Company.  Today, American Fiber & Finishing, Inc. has its manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters in Albemarle, North Carolina.
The Albemarle facility performs fabric finishing and fiber processing.  Our state-of-the-art finishing operation includes bleaching, scouring, starching, cutting and folding of fabrics.  The facility contains a full-scale testing lab capable of all applicable USP testing regulations.  All fiber processing and testing is done under strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Finished products include: Rymplecloth®, Super Cloth®, Aerotex™, Crinoline, Bleached Gauze, Cheesecloth, Purewipe®, and Gauze Diapers.  Our fiber processing utilizes 100% natural cotton and synthetic fibers.  Fiber products include: Cotton Balls, Synthetic Fiber Balls, and Cosmetic Puffs, and Pads.


Environmental Statement
AF&F conducts environmentally-conscious business and manufacturing at all times.  The majority of our products are manufactured using 100% cotton, a natural fiber that is biodegradable.  In addition, our waste water treatment facility earned the prestigious Audobon Award for Environmental Concern, exceeding the requirements for such facilities.
